University of Southern California To Disband German Department

It is sad news that the University of Southern California has decided to disband it's German Department. This means that German will no longer be offered as a major or minor from USC. It is a bit more reassuring that the decision was an administrative, rather than political one, the the German professors may argue otherwise.
